Prototype history : Chicago and North Western "Dynamic Duo",in 1995 the Chicago and North Western  was merged into the Union Pacific Railroad marking an end of more than 100 years of history.Today,the railroad lives on in the hearts and minds of its fans,symbolized by the two Chicago and North Western locomotives #8646 and #8701.These locomotives,nicknamed the "dynamic duo",still wear the distinctive Chicago and North Western green and yellow they were originally painted in,and still carry the C&NW logo proudly emblazoned on their cabs-literally the last of their kind and an important part of railroading history.
